36) 1970

I'm putting up some music this time so everybody can catch up on the DVD's (more to come by the way!). I only have 5 shows from 1970 that I can find in my archives (those of which came with me when I moved across country I should say). And only 2 of them do I have in lossless FLAC. But here they all are along with plenty of bonus studio material from the same year. If anybody is sitting on something not included and would like to share, please contact me and we will set something up.

01) 1970/02/28 Seattle Opera House (Seattle, WA)
INFO
MP3
FLAC PART 1
FLAC PART 2

02) 1970/10/03 Big Sur Festival (Montery, CA)
INFO
MP3
FLAC PART 1
FLAC PART 2
Note: The MP3 version has 4 extra songs from an audience source that I do not have in lossless format so you may want to pick up both of those.

03) 1970/11/06 Whiskey A Go Go (Los Angelos, CA)
INFO
MP3

04) 1970/11/20 Hammersmith Odeon (London, England)
INFO
MP3

05) 1970/12/19 De Doelen (Rotterdam, Netherlands)
Sorry, no info. But the FLAC version is available on this blog on the "Dutch Treat" post. Here are the MP3s.

06) Bonus Studio & TV Tracks (1969-1971):
MP3 PART 1
MP3 PART 2
MP3 PART 3

Fixing the FLAC files, they will be back soon.

These are a bunch of odds and ends from the 1969-1971 era. Some tracks are different in MP3 format than FLAC (due to availability in my collection) so you might want to pick up both sets in order to have all of the tracks.

  1. Thanks for these great 1970 posts. Had a little trouble on the 1970 studio section. It seems like on each FLAC and mp3, there are a few files in each one that have errors of one kind or another in them. Hope that can be fixed. I look forward to the '71 & '72 stuff. 1970-73 is my favorite BB period as well. Saw them at the Whiskey 11/7/70, just one day after this post. That night they did Vegetables and threw carrots to the audience. Wish someone had that show. A few other different songs were performed as well. Thanks again...Pete P.S. Getting ready to move myself, so will get back to you on a trade soon.

  2. Really enjoying this, many thanks. Have most (but certainly not all) of the tracks already but great to have them all handily arranged like this!

One or two tracks haven't decompressed - Looking at Tomorrow seems to be AWOL; don't know what others.

  3. Just wondering if the tracks with "errors" can be fised? Thanks again...Pete

  4. Which tracks are bad? I just checked my FLAC files and they all play fine. Are they the MP3s? And which ones? I want to fix them before I move on to 1971.....

  5. Actually I downloaded these and the FLAC files version seems to want another file (or two?) I got as far (in the alphabet) as Tears In The Morning using a rar fixer to extract them, but there must be part of the archive missing!

Haven't gotten to the MP3s yet but thanks for these - they're great.

  6. I downloaded the FLAC Bonus files and there is one small file missing. And I deleted everything from my hard drive after I uploaded it. I guess I'm going to have to make a new collection with the missing tracks. So far I know that the instrumental "When Girls Get Together" is missing. For now I am taking down the FLAC files.
